Other Bloggers Family Lives Featuring Little Miss And Mummy

Welcome to another week of my guest post series Other Bloggers Family Lives. This week I am featuring the lovely Eve from Little Miss And Mummy, a blog that I discovered a few months ago now and adore. Eve is a member of the RAF and I find it fascinating hearing about life as a military family, her blog is full of snippets of her family life and lots of Slimming World recipes and meal plans.

So let's find out more about the family behind Little Miss And Mummy.

1.) Tell me a bit about yourself and your family ?

I'm Eve a 39 year old military mum. No I'm not some kind of super strict mum. I'm a serving member of the Royal Air Force, I have been for 18 years. I work in a predominantly male environment; deploying with 40 plus sweaty, smelly men. I know it's not for everyone but I love my job and everyday is different; there's not many people that can say they have filled a rifle and then gone home to feed the baby and use the latest cream which is 'guaranteed' to clean up nappy rash.

I'm married to a wonderful man who is obsessed with cars and motorbikes, taking delight in slowly sending me round the bend. We have one child, a very strong willed three year old girl who has a love for Spiderman, is convinced Batman is her brother and will only watch dinosaurs on TV.

2.) Where do you live ?

We currently live in Shropshire near the Midlands. We have just moved back from Cyprus where we lived for 18 months.

3.) What is your favourite thing to do as a family where you live ?

We are a outdoors family (some more than others) and we have some amazing woodland walks right on our doorstep, but if I'm honest I'll try to drag everyone into a local cafe for cake after a very short walk!

4.) If you could live anywhere where would you ?

Shrewsbury, we tend to move every 2-5 years because of my work; this has allowed us to live in some amazing places. Shropshire is the place which feels 'right' for us as a family. I'd like it to be our 'Forever home'.

5.) Did you grew up close to where you live now and what are your favourite childhood memories of where you grew up ?

No, I'm originally from West Yorkshire. I have flash backs of having a bath once a week on a Sunday evening and watching Button Moon while eating tomato soup during lunch time (totally random).

6.) Have you got any exciting family plans for the year ahead ?

We are purchasing a camper van this year which means we get to spend more time together as a family exploring the country, hopefully having plenty of family adventures.

7.) What is your favourite thing about family life ?

My favourite thing is that its the three of us against the world. Always being supportive and being there for each other no matter how hair brained the idea seems (we've had a few).

Thank you so much for taking part Eve I loved reading your answers and I find it fascinating finding out about military life. Little Miss sounds like such a fun character, love that she thinks Batman is her brother. I hope that you have lots of adventures in your camper van this summer and have settled into your new home well.
