Learning To Cook Thai At Thaikhun Cooking School

I really love Thai food, however whenever I have tried to create my own Thai dishes at home it has been a bit of a disaster, shop brought jars just don't taste the same. So when I was recently invited along to Thaikhun in the Metrocentre to take part in their new cookery school I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to learn how to cook Thai food myself. Classes are held in Thaikhun restaurants around the country and cost £50 per person, during the class you will learn to make an authentic Thai starter and a main dish which you get to enjoy in the restaurant once cooked. You also get a welcome drink and a goody bag to take home in with the price and classes run for around 2 hours, although the class I attended did run over by around an hour as it was the first class they had hosted.

Banish Those January Blues With Some Feel Good Films Plus A Twitter Giveaway

January is such a miserable month, isn't it? everyone is broke after Christmas, the weather is rubbish and we end up feeling a bit deflated stuck at home during the cold, dark evenings. Now it is half way through January I am feeling a bit bored, I am trying to be good and save some pennies and the weather is rubbish so we have been spending a lot more time at home lately. My other half is a huge movie fan so I have vowed this year to spend more time watching DVD's with him at home. Let's face it snuggling up all cosy on the sofa with a good film is perfect for this time of year, especially a good comedy to chase away those winter blues.

December 2016

As always I am super duper late in writing my monthly round-up post, it feels like forever since I wrote Novembers post. My blog has been a bit like tumbleweed at the moment, I have so much to write about but I just have not had the chance to sit down and type, mainly due to illness and my cat putting me in hospital! Yes you read that right my cat put me in hospital, he bit me on the arm and I ended up going to the minor injury clinic as it would not stop bleeding hours later and they referred me for plastic surgery to get the wounds cleaned out and fixed and four days worth of check-ups. Typically it was my right arm and it is still a bit sore now two weeks later so blogging has had to take a bit of a back seat. Anyway, let's take a look at what December 2016 was like for us.

Thing's I Loved In December 2016

Each month I love writing about the things that I have loved from the month gone by, sort of like a happy list. I have just had the most wonderful couple of weeks off from blogging and social media, it was blissful to just spend quality time with my family without constantly being on my iphone! Totally going to spend a lot less time on my phone this year. Anyway as I had a break from my blog I am late writing this month's post about things I have loved from the month gone by, it seems ages since I wrote November's post. So let's have a look at what I loved in December.

My 10 Most Popular Blog Posts Of 2016

As it is now 2017 I thought that I would once again look back on what have been my most read posts of the year gone by. Strangely enough most of last year's most popular posts are still getting a lot of views daily too. When I sat down to see which of my posts have been the most popular this year I was actually rather surprised with some of them, I really should keep an eye on google analytics more. So here are my most read posts from 2016.
