Learning To Cook Thai At Thaikhun Cooking School

I really love Thai food, however whenever I have tried to create my own Thai dishes at home it has been a bit of a disaster, shop brought jars just don't taste the same. So when I was recently invited along to Thaikhun in the Metrocentre to take part in their new cookery school I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to learn how to cook Thai food myself. Classes are held in Thaikhun restaurants around the country and cost £50 per person, during the class you will learn to make an authentic Thai starter and a main dish which you get to enjoy in the restaurant once cooked. You also get a welcome drink and a goody bag to take home in with the price and classes run for around 2 hours, although the class I attended did run over by around an hour as it was the first class they had hosted.

Banish Those January Blues With Some Feel Good Films Plus A Twitter Giveaway

January is such a miserable month, isn't it? everyone is broke after Christmas, the weather is rubbish and we end up feeling a bit deflated stuck at home during the cold, dark evenings. Now it is half way through January I am feeling a bit bored, I am trying to be good and save some pennies and the weather is rubbish so we have been spending a lot more time at home lately. My other half is a huge movie fan so I have vowed this year to spend more time watching DVD's with him at home. Let's face it snuggling up all cosy on the sofa with a good film is perfect for this time of year, especially a good comedy to chase away those winter blues.
