So let's find out more about the family behind Messy Blog.
1.) Tell me a bit about yourself and your family?
I'm Leslie, 33, married to Liam. We have been together for almost 13 years now and married for two and a half. We have two children together Dexter and Paisley.
Leslie has recently announced she is pregnant with baby number three too.
2.) Where do you live?
We live in Peterborough.
3.) What is your favourite thing to do as a family where you live?
We are very lucky to live very close to a place called Ferry Meadow, which is situated on the River Nene. It is a huge country park area with a few play parks, lots of green space and big lakes, it's ideal for BBQ's and picnics in summer. We go for walks, feed the ducks and they are always hosting all sorts of events and activities during the holidays. It is free to enter too which is a huge bonus. It never gets boring, there is always something to do there.
4.) If you could love anywhere where would you?
I have always loved the idea of living in London. It's so full of history but also so many fantastic museums and parks. Something for everyone. Plus since watching Mary Poppins I have always been a little obsessed with the London skyline.
5.) Did you grow up close to where you live now and what are your favourite childhood memories of where you did grow up?
I have lived in Peterborough since I was two, so it is all I remember really. I remember there was a wooden train at the library we used to fight over as kids and we were always allowed to play out on the field outside my house until it got dark.
6.) Have you got any exciting family plans for the year ahead?
Sadly not. We do plan on making it our best year yet, though.
7.) What is your favourite thing about family life?
Watching all the different ways that my children grow and learn every day, seeing their sibling bond develop and seeing how much their dad misses them when he is at work. It melts my heart when he emails me saying he is missing us and asking for a photo of whatever we are doing at the time. Everything goes too quickly so I just try and savour those moments.
Thank you so much for taking part Leslie I loved reading your answers, I have never visited Peterborough before. I hope your pregnancy goes well, having two children close in age is really nice, my youngest two have a 14 month age gap and they have an amazing bond now they are 2 and 3.
