Welcome to another week of my guest post series Other Bloggers Family Lives, this week I am featuring Simone from Married To A Geek. Simone's blog covers a range of subject from parenting, reviews to beauty, food and fashion. Her blog looks great too with lovely photos and styling.
So let's find out more about the family behind Married To A Geek.
1.) Tell me a bit about yourself and your family?
My name is Simone - I'm a 33-year-old mum of two, an eleven-year-old son and a baby daughter. I've been married for five years but we have actually been together for thirteen years now.
2.) Where do you live?
I am a Yorkshire lass, and I have the accent to prove it!
3.) What is your favourite thing to do as a family where you live?
We love heading out for walks - when the weather is nice of course ... nothing like big countryside hikes (although Yorkshire would be ideal for that) but nice woodland areas, taking in a little bit of nature is perfect for us.
4.) If you could live anywhere where would you?
I have got it in my head at the moment that I would love to live an uber glamorous lifestyle in sunny Dubai.
5.) Did you grow up close to where you live now and what are your favourite childhood memories of where you grew up?
I live a five-minute drive away from the house that I grew up in, so everything around me is familiar; which has its plus points and negatives. I loved the group of friends I had when I was young - we would all play massive games of rounders or hide and seek and stayed outside until the street lamps came on - brilliant times.
6.) Have you got any exciting family plans for the year ahead?
We have a UK holiday to look forward to (pray for the weather for me).
7.) What is your favourite thing about family life?
Knowing that these little people are mine. We spend as much time together as possible and I wouldn't change that for anything.
Thank you so much for taking part Simone it was lovely to find out a bit more about your family life in Yorkshire. I have a big age gap between my eldest and middle child too and I love the big gap. Living in Dubai would be amazing, imagine living in luxury in the sunshine - bliss! Enjoy your holiday and fingers crossed the weather stays nice for you.
