Welcome to another week of my guest post series Other Bloggers Family Lives. This week I am featuring the lovey Sarah from The Parenting Trials, I only discovered Sarah's blog a few months ago and it is full of parenting posts, reviews and days out.
So let's find out more about the family behind The Parenting Trials.
1.) Tell me a bit about yourself and your family ?
Hi I am Sarah aged 26. I live in sunny Somerset with my fiancee who I have been with for six years and engaged to for two.We have two wonderful children together a girl aged four and a boy aged three. I currently divide my life between being a stay at home mum and working on my blog The Parenting Trials.
2.) Where do you live ?
I live in sunny Somerset, right near the beach and I love it. I lived here originally until I was four and then my parents sadly split up and I had to move away for a while, then I moved back when I was around age 11 and have lived here ever since.
3.) What is your favourite thing to do as a family where you live ?
Were lucky enough to live by the sea, so especially in summer time you'll find us either down the beach or at the water park.
4.) If you could live anywhere where would you ?
I'd say I am definitely a home girl. My partner always talks about us moving somewhere else, he'd particularly like somewhere hot.... but I moved around so much growing up, moving schools constantly and houses and having to make new friends wasn't fun. I kind of like being settled for a while.
5.) Did you grow up close to where you live now and what are your favourite childhood memories of where you grew up ?
I grew up about an hour away from where I live now and I only have happy memories from then. It was very what is the word ...... safe. I know that might sound odd but growing up I could walk around here at 7pm at night and not worry about anything happening. To be honest I don't think I have ever heard of anything bad happening there, like ever. These days and with where I live now it's a bit more different.
6.) Have you got any exciting plans for the year ahead ?
We have actually we are off to Butlins this year for a family holiday, were huge fans of the just for tots weeks and go at least once every year. I was also lucky enough to be selected as an official blogger for Camp Bestival 2016, we are very excited to go there.
7.) What is your favourite thing about family life ?
Getting to be a kid again myself lol, when we go to a soft play I'm definitely not one of those who sit down at the side watching as their kids have all the fun, I'm the first to get stuck in and to go climbing through tunnels and jumping on bouncy castles.
Thank you so much for taking part Sarah I loved reading your answers, it sounds so lovely where you live - I wish it was sunny here in Newcastle as it always rains! I hope that you have a great time at Butlins and Camp Bestival and I can't wait to hear all about them on your blog.
