The new pots and pies range includes eleven yummy flavours which are
  • Mild Chicken Curry
  • Chicken & Veg Risotto
  • Veg Ravioli
  • Spaghetti & Meatballs
  • Beef Lasagne
  • Pasta Bolognese
  • Cottage Pie
  • Mild Beef Chilli
  • Fish Pie
  • Chicken Pie
  • Shepard's Pie
These are all meals that are firm family favourites in are household and I imagine in many others too. Each meal is made from 100% natural ingredients, is low in salt and contains no added sugar or preservatives. They also contain a portion of a child's five a day and they only use British meat and sustainably sourced fish.

My two and three year old were recently sent some of the new meals to try out, they were sent Mild Chicken Curry, Chicken & Veg Risotto, Veg Ravioli and Spaghetti & Meatballs. I was instantly drawn to the packaging, it was also very appealing to my children with bold coloured containers and illustrations on the cover.

The meals are chilled and had a long shelf on them of around three weeks, making them perfect for keeping in the fridge for when needed. You can cook the meals in either the oven or the microwave  -  perfect for those days when you just don't have time to make a healthy homemade meal from scratch, but still want to feed your little ones something healthy. They are also the perfect portion size for toddlers and I like knowing that they are full of goodness and are meals that my children are familiar with.

I was a bit unsure if my children would actually eat these meals, simply because we never feed them ready meals and I was unsure what they would make of them. My three year old did not eat them as she is really fussy and wont eat food when it has sauce on or has been mixed with other foods. My two year old son on the other hand really liked these meals and happily tried every single one, even though he is also a fussy eater at times.

The mild chicken curry was his favourite meal, followed by the risotto. I really liked that when I served these meals they actually looked like proper food and not mushy like you often find with ready meals. I was impressed with these meals and think that they are fantastic quality, appealing to little ones, convenient to mums, healthy and tasty. They are certainly the best toddler meals we have ever tried and I will be buying them again in the future.
