Fisher Price Bright Beats Learnin Lights Dance Mat - Review

My little boy Jacob has just turned two years old and he still adores interactive learning toys, now that he is two he loves playing along with his toys and understand what he is meant to do with them. So when we were recently asked if we would like to review a Fisher-Price Bright Beats Learnin Lights Dance Mat  (RRP £39.99) I knew this would be something that Jacob would enjoy.

Recommended for children aged nine months to three years old, Bright Beats dance mat will help little ones learn whilst being lots of fun. The mat features a popular Beat Bo figure in the centre of the mat, which children will love to spin around. The mat helps to teach little ones their ABC's, numbers, colours and shapes as well as learning some dance moves. Children can sit, crawl, stand and dance on the mat which has sensors on and will light up and reward your child when they follow the instructions.

There are two play modes, Move & Play and Dance & Learn. The Move & Play mode is great for interaction, you simply press any of the four light up buttons on Beat Bos base which will teach little ones numbers, ABC's, colours and shapes. The Dance & Learn mode fun phrases will encourage your little one to dance around the mat, rewarding them with songs and lights when they land on the right part of the mat. The mat is fairly small but was big enough for both of my children to play with at once, it also has grips on the back too which helps prevent little ones slipping.

At two years old Jacob loves the mat, he loves the songs and phrases and is amazed by the bright lights on the mat and mainly uses it in the Move & Play mode. My three year old Sophia can fully understand what Beat Bo is saying and can follow the instructions and loves interacting with the mat and using it in the Dance & Learn mode.

To celebrate the launch of the new Bright Beats Learnin Lights Dance Mat and the new BeatBowWow toys Fisher-Price have teamed up with professional dancer and celebrity mum Kimberly Wyatt to encourage active play. Kimberly and her 18 month old daughter Willow be showing off their own dance moves to encourage parents and children to get more active and share there own #BeatBoBoogie moments. If you head over to the Fisher Price Facebook page and share your photos, videos and comments you could win some amazing Fisher-Price prizes for your children.

Disclosure We were sent this toy for the purpose of this review, however all views are my own.
