My little girl Sophia is 4-years-old and she is My Little Pony crazy, she watches it on TV non-stop and My Little Pony toys are top of her Christmas wish list. She can not wait to go to the cinema to see My Little Pony the movie which is out in cinemas soon. To celebrate the release of the new My Little Pony movie, Hasbro has released some new My Little Pony the Movie toys just in time for Christmas. As part of the Hasbro toy tribe, we were very kindly sent a My Little Pony The Movie Canterlot & Seaquestria Castle playset.
The Canterlot & Seaquestria Castle is a 73cm multi-level play castle, the first floor represents Canterlot and the bottom layer undersea fun. The castle comes with one pony which is Queen Novo from the film and her sidekick friend Spike the Pufferfish. The set also comes with over 30 accessories such as treasure chests, chairs, tea-sets and dressing tables, making it perfect for children to play with.
Setting up the castle was fairly easy and only took around twenty minutes, with easy to follow instructions. As the castle is plastic all of the pieces easily click into place and you don't need any tools or to spend ages sticking on stickers, once built it is ready to play with straight away. Building the castle I realised that it was a lot bigger than I thought that it would be, making it a great 'big present' idea for Christmas time. When set up the castle looks really impressive and my little girl Sophia could not believe her eyes and was so very excited and could not wait to start playing.
The playset has a working lift, pink glittery slide, spinning octopus that Queen Nova can ride on, a jellyfish chandelier that you can hide jewels in and so many different features to explore. Queen Nova also has a throne to sit in, skateboard to ride on and all of the fun accessories to play with. With so many features and accessories, my children have spent hours playing with this castle (yep my 3-year-old son even likes to try and play with it too).
We have had the My Little Pony Canterlot & Seaquestria Castle for a few weeks now and Sophia still loves it and plays with it daily and it has also been a big hit with her 5-year-old cousin too. Sophia loves this castle so much she has asked for the other figures from the movie to go with it for Christmas.
The My Little Pony Canterlot and Seaquestria Castle is around £80 from all leading toy retailers and I really do think it would make a great big present for a My Little Pony fan. My little girl adores it and I think she will love it even more after she see's the film at the cinema at half-term.
Disclosure I was sent this toy for the purpose of this review, however, all opinions are my own.
