This week on Other Bloggers Family Lives I am featuring fellow North East parent blogger Victoria who blogs at Mummy To My Little Cheeky Monkey. Victoria blogs all about her family life here in Newcastle and life with her two boys James and Freddie. So let's find out more about the family behind Mummy To My Little Cheeky Monkey.
1.) Tell me a bit about yourself and your family?
I'm Vicki, I've been married to Andy for 6 years and we have two brilliant little boys - James is almost five and Freddie is one.
2.) Where do you live?
We live just outside of Newcastle city centre in one of the suburbs. It's great being so close to the city.
3.) What is your favourite thing to do as a family where you live?
We love going to the local park which is five minutes walk from our house and across the road from James school. Or going into town for a wander round the shops and going for lunch.
4.) If you could live anywhere where would you?
That would either have to be Dublin or Orlando. Dublin I grew up visiting a lot and I still have a lot of friends over there. Orlando because well that's where me and Andy went for our honeymoon and we totally love the place.
5.) Did you grow up close to where you live now and what are your favourite childhood memories of where you grew up?
I grew up about 45 minutes away from where we live now and my parents still live in the area so we visit a lot. I have loads of memories of riding my bike down to the harbour most mornings when I was a teenager in the summer holidays or riding down to the library and spending hours curled up with a book.
6.) Have you got any exciting plans for the year ahead?
James is turning five soon, so we have his party coming up at the end of the summer holidays. James is completely daft on Spiderman so we are planning to make his soft play party Spiderman themed.
7.) What is your favourite thing about family life?
I just love it when we spend time all together just the four of us or when we spend time with my parents at their house or going to the beach next to where they live.
Thank you so much for taking the time to answer these questions Victoria, I hope that James has a brilliant party this summer. I think if I had to live anywhere I would pick Dublin as it is where my dad's family are from and I too have fond memories of visiting as a child.
