Other Bloggers Family Lives Featuring Nine To Three Thirty

Welcome to another week of my guest post series Other Bloggers Family Lives. This week I am featuring Erica from Nine To Three Thirty, a blog that I have been reading for around two years now as it was one of the first blogs I discovered when I started blogging myself. Erica's blog is, as the name suggests a blog about life with a school aged child, covering reviews, days and meals out and general parenting posts.

UK parent blogger Nine To Three Thirty

So lets find out more about the family behind Nine To Three Thirty.

1.) Tell me a bit about yourself and your family ?

I'm Erica Price and I am married to Ryan. My son H is 9 and he's a real chatterbox. As well as us there are two very pampered Burmese cats : Amber and Bracken, plus a tank of tropical fish.

2.) Where do you live ?

We live in Birmingham on the western side of the city, which means we can get into the city quickly, but we're also close to Worcestershire countryside, so we can get the best of both worlds.

3.) What is your favourite thing to do as family where you live ?

Our favourite thing to do as a family is go out for lunch or dinner. H is an adventurous eater for a child and we have always taken him out to pubs and restaurants to eat. Luckily Birmingham has plenty of choice, so there is always somewhere new to try.

4.) If you could live anywhere where would you live ?

If I could live anywhere, it would have to be by the sea. At the moment we live nearly as far from the coast as you can get in this country, both H and I have a real pull towards the sea. I think it would most likely be the Welsh Cardigan Bay coast that I'd go for as that tends to be where we go when we do manage to get to the beach.

5.) Did you grow up close to where you live now and what are your favourite childhood memories of where you grew up ?

Yes I grew up very close to where I live now and we even live on the same street as my parents. That gives me a real sense of belonging to the area and it's a lovely place to live as its an oasis of green in the city.

6.) Do you have any exciting plans for the year ahead ?

My sister and her family moved back from Australia (after 5 years) to take up a job in Scotland this week, so we are making plans to visit them in their new home and for H to get reacquainted with his cousins.

7.) What is your favourite thing about family life ?

My favourite thing about family life is spending time trying out new things and visiting new places.

Thank you so much for taking part Erica I loved reading your answers, I hope that you enjoy your trip to Scotland and H enjoys spending time with his cousins again. I think that it is lovely you live so close to where you grew up and have a sense of belonging where you live.

  1. We also have the best of both worlds, living near Manchester but in easy reach of the Peak Districk too. I love being somewhere where there's so many options, it's great for the kids too. So much to do x
