I decided that I would create the book for my almost three-year-old Sophia as she adores books just like her mummy. My Given Name is different from most other storybooks as each book is individual to each child. The story starts with a stork called Bindee, whose job is to deliver a baby home to its family - the baby being the child who the book is for.

 On Bindees way to collect the baby, he encounters lots of animals, each animal that the stork encounters will have a letter made up from the child's name and they will also pass on a positive message, which will help reveal the child's given name and the special meaning behind it. 

My daughter is called Sophia so the animals that we came across in the story were a Seal, Owl, Porcupine, Hippopotamus, Indian Tiger and an Aardvark.

Every single page of this book is beautifully illustrated and the story and positive messages throughout make this such a wonderful read. It is hard backed and will look lovely on a bookshelf and would make the most gorgeous new baby, christening or birthday gift as it is so unique and will be treasured forever.
