Welcome to week five of my blog series and this week I am featuring Katie from Mummy's Diary. Like myself, Katie has two children really close in age and her blog is full of life with two toddlers, lots of great blogging tips as well as reviews and family memories.
Katie works two part-time jobs as well as running her blog and juggling life with two toddlers and a husband who works shifts. Her life sounds super busy, so here is a bit more about the family behind Mummy's Diary.
1.) Tell me a bit about yourself and your family?
We are a little family of four. My husband and I met in 2011, we had our first child a daughter in 2012 followed by our son in 2014, we married in 2014 too. I blog for fun and work two part-time jobs, one as a receptionist and the other as a health care assistant in our local hospital.
2.) Where do you live?
We live in the south Wales valleys.
3.) What is your favourite thing to do as a family where you live?
We have many lovely parks and a forestry around our house, and we love nothing more than going on nature walks and enjoying our environment.
4.) If you could live anywhere where would you?
I've always said somewhere hot like Australia or America, where houses are much bigger and better value for money. If it came down to it I really don't know if I'd be able to leave my hometown.
5.) Did you grow up close to where you live now and what are your favourite childhood memories of where you grew up?
I grew up in Cardiff and I'd still love to be living there now, but I moved to an area that is more affordable but I still have my family around me. Me and my sister used to love going off on our little adventures, we were quiet Tomboyish and would like to climb trees and jump in the river.
6.) Have you got any exciting family plans for the year ahead?
We haven't really got anything planned, a few holidays most likely. We will just see what the year has in store for us.
7.) What is your favourite thing about family life?
Being surrounded by people I love and who love me, and being able to teach and show our children new things.
Thank you for taken part Katie I honestly don't know how you manage two jobs, a blog and two small children I am seriously impressed! I also don't think I could move away from my hometown either, although I would also love one of those big American houses! I hope that the year ahead has lots of lovely things in store for you all.
