Gifted Products.
Christmas is coming and I am now starting to buy gifts for my children. This year I am really struggling on what to buy my teenage daughter as she is 17 now and she pretty much has everything that she needs. I think her main gift will be money towards her driving lessons but I like to get her gifts to open too, normally she gives me a list of things she wants but this year she has hardly asked for anything at all. So I have pulled together a gift guide of items that would be nice for a teenage girl this Christmas.
Necklace
Jewellery always makes such a lovely gift that can be treasured for years to come, I always get my teenager some Jewellery to add to her collection each Christmas. This beautiful Polar Bear necklace from Jana Reinhardt is the perfect gift. It is timeless and the polar bear design is a perfect accessory to a winter wardrobe. Priced at £89 it is available to buy along with a rather cute penguin necklace from www.janareinhardt.com
Printer
My teen started the sixth form in September and she is doing a lot of course-work and is always having to print work out for her fine art portfolio. So a printer of her own is something that she needs so she can print all her coursework off in her bedroom in peace. This Epson Ecotank ET-2711 printer is perfect for all of her coursework as it is a 3-in-1 printer, it is ultra-low-cost printing as it includes ink which is equivalent to 88 cartridges and it has easy mobile printing via WI-FI and apps. It costs £155 on Amazon.
5 Second Rule Game
This fun game for over 10s looks ideal for teens to play as it is a fast-paced game where you have to say the first thing that comes to mind - which I will have some hilarious answers. It is suitable for 3 or more players and sounds perfect for playing over the festive period. You can buy it now from leading game retailers priced at £19.99.
Leggings
Like a lot of teenagers, my daughter loves to wear black leggings and she wears them most days for sixth form. However, she always complains that they go see-through after a while so I am always having to replace hers. However we have been really impressed with the Leggings from Love leggings, they are thick and comfortable and they are not at all see-through. Priced at £14 they are well priced and we will certainly be buying her more. You can buy your own online from www.loveleggings.com
Make-Up Brush
Like most teenagers, my daughter loves make-up and has loads of make-up brushes. So I thought she might like this Luxe Studio Rose Gold Brush Set. Designed to be used with powder and liquid cosmetics it is a good addition to any make-up case. You can buy them on Amazon with prices starting at just £6.95.
Harry Potter Lex-Go
Perfect for Harry Potter fans is this Lex-Go is a fast word game that the whole family can enjoy. Race against other players to get rid of all your playing tiles by creating words, swapping letters and even attacking other players words. Available to buy from Waterstones, Amazon and The Works priced at £14.99 for players aged 8 and over.
Ted Baker Gift Set
Ted Baker gift sets always make such a lovely gift set as they come beautifully presented. We have actually bought our teen a few of the gift sets over the last few years as she likes them. So these Sweet Things Come In Three gift set is perfect for her, it contains a trio of little boxes each containing a 5ml miniature fragrances and a lip gloss. Priced at £26 it is available to buy from Boots and John Lewis.
Escape Room Game
Escape rooms are hugely popular and I think teenagers will enjoy this Escape Room Game from Goliath Games. There are three rooms to escape from - Prison Break, Virus and Nuclear Countdown and you need to work together to solve puzzles, find clues and find your way out. The game is for 3 - 5 players aged 16 and over. It looks like great fun and I am sure my teen (and us grown-ups) will enjoying playing it. It is available to buy now for £30 from Amazon.
Guinness World Records 2020 Book
I always find Guinness World Record holders fascinating, there are often some weird and wonderful awards in this record book. It will be ideal for teens to read and discover some of these record-breaking victories. Available to buy now from all leading retailers priced at £8 for the hardcover edition.
Nails & Lashes
My make-up loving teen will love these little packets of lashes and press-on manicure nails fro Kiss. Perfect for getting her party-ready. We were sent some Naked Drama Lashes (£7.99 for one pair) and some Faux Minx Lashes (£11.99 for two pairs). We were also sent Glam Fantasy Nails (£7.99 for 28 nails) and some Gel Fantasy Nails (£7.99 for 24 nails). They are available to buy now from Boots and Superdrug and they make a great stocking filler idea.
So there are some ideas to buy for teenage girls this Christmas. Other things that are popular with my daughter are iTunes vouchers, cinema or Nando vouchers, sweets, Lush products, Make-Up (Benefit and Mac), Hollister Hoodies and vouchers for any of her go-to clothes shops - Topshop, New Look, JD Sports etc. If you have a teenage daughter what do they like?
