Vital Baby Weaning Range Review

A few months ago we were selected to be part of Vital Baby's #WeaningWarriors team, as part of the team we were sent a brilliant selection of Vital Baby weaning products to help us with Jacob's weaning journey. We have been using these products for a few months now and have been able to really put them to the test.

In the weaning bundle we were sent

weaning products, spoons, pots, cups

  • 5 soft tip weaning spoons (age 4 mth +)
  • A soft spout baby's 1st tumbler (age 4 mth +)
  • An on the go weaning set (age 6 mth +)
  • 4 prep and go food pots  (age 6 mth +)
  • 8 Press 'n' pop mini freezer pots (age 6 mth +)
The set had everything that we needed for his weaning journey when we were selected to be #WeaningWarriors Jacob was eleven month's old so we had been weaning a few months and he was starting to eat family foods. Jacob is now 14 months old and he loves his food and I have to say are weaning journey has been a great success. We have loved using are Vital Baby products and have found them to be so useful and easy to use and they have defiantly helped us have such a great weaning journey.

So today I am going to be sharing with you all a review of the products that we received and what we thought of them. The item we love the most and that we use every single day is the soft tip weaning spoons, these came in a great range of bright colours and are really lightweight making them perfect for Jacob to use himself to attempt to feed himself. These will be great for those very first spoonful's of purees baby's try to little toddlers like Jacob who like to feed themselves.

Another product that I have found really useful is the 'Prep and go food pots' as these are quite big and they come with lids making them perfect for putting snacks in for when we are going out for the day. I have also found them to be good for putting fruit in for Jacob to enjoy at home as can easily grab the food out of the pots and does not spill them everywhere like he does with a plate or bowl.

I love the little 'On the go weaning set' as this is a handy bowl with a lid on, it comes with a soft-tipped weaning spoon that easily clips onto the lid and has a little clip-on cover, so that you can cover the spoon. This is the perfect size for having in your changing bag and for meals out and about, the lid and the spoon cover makes it perfect for keeping things clean and also for stopping everything getting dirty after mealtimes. Even though Jacob no longer eats purees this is still really handy to keep in the changing bag for when we are eating out.

The 'Soft spout baby's 1st tumbler' is also really handy as it is just the right size and shape for little hands to hold and it has an easy-grip base. It has a flip lid on it to keep the spout covered and clean and you can the cup as a no spill or free-flow cup. We have been using it as a no-spill cup and Jacob has been finding it really easy to hold and drink out of on his own. This would be a great first cup for any baby as it is so soft and easy to use.

Lastly, we were sent eight 'Press 'n' pop mini freezer pots', we have not actually used these very much as they are more for storing and freezing purees and we do not use them any more. These are fairly small but just the right size for a baby that is just starting to wean, they also stack together easily in the freezer and have soft bases that you press to pop the frozen puree out easily. I would have found these pots so useful when I first started weaning Jacob.

We have really enjoyed using these products and they really have made weaning much easier and more fun for us and we are big fans. All of the products are BPA free and come in a range of eye-catching bright colours, they are all strong and safe for little ones as my two toddlers have thrown them and bashed them and they have not broke at all. These products have been designed with parents and babies in mind with lots of little attention to detail that makes weaning easier and less messy.

Have you tried the Vital baby range yet?

Disclosure I was sent these products free of charge for the purpose of this review, however all words and opinions are my own.
