Other Bloggers Family Lives Featuring All Thing's Amy

Welcome to another week of Other Bloggers Family Lives, this week I am featuring Amy from All Things Amy, a family lifestyle blog.

All things Amy UK parent blogger

1.) Tell me a bit about yourself and your family?

I'm Amy, I am a first-time mum to a beautiful little boy. I live with my partner Alex and we also have Bilbo; our overly hairy fur baby (dog) who absolutely loves a fuss.

2.) Where do you live?

You can find us amongst the Cornish countryside, in the very South of the UK.

3.) What is your favourite thing to do as a family where you live?

We are very lucky to be surrounded by beaches and woodlands. We love to get outdoors as much as we can, usually fishing if Daddy gets his way and going on picnics.

4.) If you could live anywhere where would you?

Living in Cornwall is a very much love/hate relationship. There are not a lot of opportunities here but it is definitely one of the most beautiful places in the UK. I would probably only go to North Cornwall / Devon so I'm that little bit closer to the cities.

5.) Did you grow up close to where you live now?

I was originally born in Southampton but have lived in Cornwall for over 21 years now, my childhood home is literally only a mile away from my own house. There weren't many children in my village but we were always together when the sun was out. I remember making our own water slide - fun until I slid right over the edge of the garden. I'm one of six children so the majority of memories are family fun, we loved a party and still do!

6.) Have you got any exciting plans for the year ahead?

We haven't got anything planned yet.

7.) What is your favourite thing about family life?

Nothing beats snuggles under the duvet on a rainy day, eating rubbish and watching films.Bilbo included.

Thank you so much for taking part Amy I can totally relate to what you said about having a love/hate relationship with where you live, I grew up in Northumberland and it is beautiful but so far North from everything.

  7. Duvet snuggles are the best. I know what Amy means by wanting to live a bit closer to the cities but still maintain some countryside near by.
