This week on Other Bloggers Family Lives I am featuring Emma who blogs at They Grow So Quick, Emma blogs about her three boys, family life in Yorkshire, recipes and home education. So let's find out more about the family behind they Grow So Quick.
1.) Tell me a bit about yourself and your family?
I'm Emma a thirty something stay at home Mum to my three little boys. I have been married to Phil for almost 4 years now. Our boys are Seb who is 5 and mad about Lego, Alex who is 3 and loves anything to do with fire engines and Barney who is one and loves anything he can chew. They keep me on my toes! We home educate so Seb doesn't attend school and Alex doesn't go to nursery, it is a massive part of our lives.
2.) Where do you live?
We live in West Yorkshire, not too far from Leeds. It is a lovely part of the world with so much to see and do.
3.) What is your favourite thing to do as a family where you live?
We love to explore the amazing outdoor spaces that we are lucky enough to be close too. My favourite place to visit is Yorkshire Sculpture Park, it is a short drive from the town we live in and it is such a great place to visit with children, there are brilliant exhibitions to see as well as being a generally lovely place to walk and have a picnic.
4.) If you could live anywhere where would you?
Instead of one place, I would absolutely love to take the children travelling around the world, I think it would be an amazing experience for us all.
5.) Did you grow up close to where you live now and what are your favourite childhood memories of where you grew up?
No, I grew up in Berkshire and lived there until I was 18. I loved where I grew up, it felt a very safe place to be and I remember lots of summer fun playing out with the other children who live on my street.
6.) Have you got any exciting family plans for the year ahead?
We are hoping to make a few trips to various places around the UK. I really want to take the boys to London for a couple of days to see the landmarks and pay a visit to the Natural History Museum.
7.) What I your favourite thing about family life?
I love the chaos! There is never time to be bored and I like it that way. I love seeing the world through my children's eyes and watching them develop and grow.
Thank you so much for taking part Emma, I love Yorkshire and it sounds really lovely where you live. I hope that you get to visit London with your boys soon and have a great time at the Natural History Museum, I think my children would enjoy visiting there too when they are a bit older.
