Other Bloggers Family Lives Featuring Joanne's World

This week on Other Bloggers Family Lives I am featuring Joanne who blogs at Joanne's World. Joanne blogs about being a mum to two young boys, beauty and lifestyle. So let's find out more about the family behind Joanne's World.

1.) Tell me a bit about yourself?

I'm Joanne, I'm a mother of two beautiful boys Rio (2 in May) and Junior (4 months). As a family, we LOVE to explore and I have a little obsession with chocolate .... shhhh.

2.) Where do you live?

We live in a small town just outside of the city of Leeds.

3.) What is your favourite thing to do as a family where you live?

There isn't a great deal for the kids to do in my town, so we make the most of the parks and fields. There are a few woodland area's which we visit, it is great for the boys. Huge puddles, big sticks and lots of mud!

4.) If you could live anywhere where would you live?

I don't have a specific place, just somewhere remote where it is just us. An island! I know that is never going to happen but there is always time for wishful thinking ey?

5.) Did you grow up close to where you live now and what are your favourite memories of where you grew up?

I grew up in the next town across. The things I remember most about my childhood was our adventures! I just loved the outdoors, even if it was just walking to the shop and back. It is the little things we treasure the most.

6.) Have you got any exciting family plans for the year ahead?

We are currently saving for our mortgage deposit, eeek! But later on in the year, my little family is heading to a caravan for a week, I can not wait!

7.) What is your favourite thing about family life?

My Favourite thing about family life is always knowing you have each other. Family is the most important thing in the entire world. From the highs and the lows, we will always be there for one another.

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer these questions, Joanne, I too had two children under two and know how hard yet rewarding it can be. I was also a younger mum and had my eldest when I was 18 too, who is now 15! I hope you enjoy your caravan holiday in the summer, I took my children on a caravan break last year and they loved it and I hope your boys and you do too.

  3. I quite like the idea of living on an island, even for a few weeks to get away from normal life. I can imagine it being very relaxing and detoxifying for the soul. Have a lovely time on your caravan trip as well.
