This week on Other Bloggers Family Lives I am featuring Sophie & Lily, which is a UK parenting and lifestyle blog. Sophie is a mum of two and is currently heavily pregnant with baby number three - how exciting! Her blog is all about her family life, pregnancy, reviews, interiors and general lifestyle posts.
So let's find out more about the family behind Sophie & Lily.
1.) Tell me a bit about yourself and your family?
I'm Sophie and I am mummy to Lily (aged 4), Alexander (aged 2) and I am expecting baby number 3 who is due before Christmas. I am a work from home blogging mumma and I enjoy it so much. I am married to "Microbiology Man" and I mostly smile and nod when he tells me what he has been up to at work.
2.) Where do you live?
We live on the South Coast of the U.K, in Hampshire.
3.) What is your favourite thing to do as a family where you live?
We are privileged to have the New Forest on our doorstep so we thoroughly enjoy getting out and about, enjoying our proximity to the seaside and the gateway to Dorset, Devon and beyond.
4.) If you could live anywhere where would you?
When I was younger I always wanted to live in Hampshire and that dream became a reality. I think if I had to return anywhere to live tough I would choose Oxfordshire. Who knows what the future holds!
5.) Did you grow up close to where you live now and what are your favourite childhood memories of where you grew up?
I grew up on the Kent and Sussex border and I think my upbringing and education that I received there really helped shape me into the person that I am today. I love taking my kids back to my hometown and seeing them play in the parks that I so frequently did when I was small.
6.) Have you got any exciting family plans for the year ahead?
Lily started school in September which was a change for our family. And of course, in December our family will become five!
7.) What is your favourite thing about family life?
I love how close knit our own family is bearing in mind we have never lived near parents ever since we left home. Perhaps that has made us more independent and I think that has transferred to our own children.
Thank you so much for taking part Sophie, it sounds wonderful where you live with so much to do in the area. I hope that the rest of your pregnancy goes well, I bet that it will be so lovely having a baby just in time for Christmas.
