Now that it is winter and the mornings are cold and frosty we have been starting the day with a nice warming bowl of Ready Brek each morning. I fondly remember having Ready Brek for breakfast when I was a child and now my own children enjoy it for breakfast too, especially my four-year-old daughter Sophia. Packed full of vitamins and minerals and only containing natural ingredients it is the perfect way to start the day before school. Plus it is super quick and easy for us parents to whip up in the morning too, bonus!
At the moment Sophia loves her Ready Brek plain, Jacob loves his topped with banana's or honey and myself and the other half like it with a sprinkle of sugar and my teen loves it with a dollop of Nutella. It really is a family favourite cereal in our house that we all enjoy.
My children have been excited to see the Minions appearing on their Ready Brek pack's lately as they are huge fans. The Minions are on the pack to help promote the new DespicibleMe 3 film which is out on DVD in time for Christmas and we were kindly sent a copy. We could not wait to watch Despicable Me 3 as we are all fans of the Despicable Me and Minion films, especially my little boy who call's them all Bob. The film is brilliant and we were all laughing throughout at Gru, his girls and of course the Minions, a must-see family film.
To celebrate the release of the film on DVD Ready Brek are currently running competitions on the Despicable Me branded packs where you could win some Despicable Me merchandise every hour. Which is sure to delight fans. We were sent a Mineez Minions Collector tin which contained two toy surprise Minion inspired figures, much to my children's delight as they adore toy surprises. With over 40 characters to collect, I can see this being something they will enjoy collecting and at least they will have the collector tin to keep them all safe in one place instead of dotted all over the house (maybe that is wishful thinking).
The Despicable Me 3 branded Ready Brek is available to buy in the shops now and the DVD and Mineez collector tins are also now out from all leading retailers.
Do your children enjoy Ready Brek and Despicable Me 3?
