My four-year-old daughter Sophia is such a girly girl who adores playing with dolls, so when we were asked if we would like to review Lottie dolls I knew they would be perfect for her. Lottie dolls are different to other dolls in that they are designed to look like children and not adults, they have the body shape of a regular 9-year-old, they wear no makeup, jewellery or heels and look like normal children who stand on their own two feet. I love this as I am all for keeping my children innocent for as long as possible and I am not a fan of unrealistic tiny waisted, big boobed play dolls.
These dolls have been designed with children in mind, they come in fun outfits that will help ignite children's imagination. Sophia had never seen a Lottie doll before so when the Snow Queen Lottie doll and Biscuit the beagle dog accessory set turned up she was amazed and could not wait to get her new toys out the box to play with.
The Snow Queen Lottie doll does look like a very popular princess so naturally, Sophia has named her Elsa. She wears a pale blue dress with silver snowflakes, with a white fake fur wrap and blue ballet pump style shoes. The Snow Queen Lottie doll also comes with a bag and masked ball type mask, much to Sophia's delight as she loves dressing her in the mask. Sophia has had so much fun playing with her new Lottie doll, she has played with her non-stop for the past week and it has been lovely watching her make up games and seeing her little imagination running wild whilst she plays with her.
We were also sent a Biscuit the Beagle dog accessory set (£9.50) which again Sophia totally adores, she is at the age where she is really into animals so this accessory set is a massive hit. Biscuit the beagle is a cute little dog who comes with a collar and lead that you can attach to your Lottie dolls hand, making it look like she is really taking him for a walk. Biscuit also comes with a dog bed, bowl and bone, coat and a bag that he fits in and Lottie can carry. He really is the perfect little accessory set to accompany a Lottie doll.
Seeing how much my daughter loves her new Snow Queen Lottie doll and Biscuit the Beagle set is lovely to watch. She has had hours of fun playing games with her new doll and as a parent, I really like these dolls too. We will certainly be buying her more of these dolls in the future, especially as they have a one called Sophia which I am sure my very own Sophia would adore.
You can buy your own Lottie doll from www.lottie.com or local readers can buy them at Dobbies in Ponteland. You can also follow Lottie Dolls on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
