Behind The Seams Costume Exhibit At Preston Park Museum Teesside

AD - Paid Post.

On Sunday we were invited along to Preston Park Museum in Stockton-On-Tees, to explore the new Behind The Seams exhibition. The exhibition provides a glimpse into the world of costume design and explores the story behind Angels Costumes, the worlds greatest costume houses who have been dressing the stars of stage, screen and TV for over 175 years.

As I had never visited Preston Park before I had no idea what to expect, so read on to see what I thought.

The Christmas Clean With Regina

AD - Paid Post.

Christmas, the most magical time of the year filled with lots of family time, festivities and yummy food. Like most parents, I am on the Christmas countdown and really looking forward to seeing my children's face's light up on Christmas morning. However, I am sure I am not alone when I say I am also feeling a bit overwhelmed by it all too,  I still feel like I have so much to do and I haven't even started on getting the house sorted for Christmas yet.

Peter Pan Pantomime At Whitley Bay Playhouse Review

AD - Invited.

Last weekend we were invited to Whitley Bay Playhouse to see this year's pantomime, Peter Pan. Produced once again by Blue Genie Entertainment and starting Anthony Costa from Blue as Captain Hook and Playhouse legend Steve Walls as Smee. Also staring last years favourite Ben Hanson (Bouncer in Tracey Beaker) as Starkey and lots of returning Playhouse panto cast members.

We could not wait to see the show as we have really enjoyed previous years and it is the perfect panto for the whole family to enjoy.

Premier League Writing Stars 2018

AD - Paid Post.

Last year Premier League Writing Stars was launched and the competition was a huge success with over 25,000 entries! So this year it is back and hoping to be just as (or hopefully even more) popular. This year the theme is diversity and primary school pupils are encouraged to get creative and write a poem on the subject of diversity, there are some great Premier League related prizes up for grabs for those taking part.

The idea behind Premier League writing stars is to get primary school children interested in poetry and to have a go at writing their own poem. The fact that the campaign is backed by top Premier League football clubs that many young children support helps get some pupils interested. Especially as they can win some amazing Premier League related prizes for their school by taking part in the poetry competition.

Writing Stars is part of an educational program called Premier League Primary Stars, which is free for teachers to access and has lots of resources for key stage 1 and 2.

L.O.L. Surprise Pop-Up Store Playset Review

AD - Review Item.

My five-year-old daughter - like a lot of children, is L.O.L crazy, she has been collecting L.O.L dolls for the past year. She loves the surprise element of them and all the fun accessories that you get with the dolls (and pets), however, as the dolls and accessories are so small she often ends up losing the shoes and outfits for them.

The L.O.L Surprise Pop-Up store set up out the box

So when we were offered to review the new L.O.L Surprise Pop-Up Store Playset I thought that would be perfect for her to store all her L.O.L dolls and accessories in.  Not only is it a display and storage case but it also turns into a little playset and you can also use it for transporting dolls too.
