Beko WX943440B Washing Machine Review & Giveaway

Before Christmas we were sent a Beko washing machine to review that has a 28-minute wash cycle, I know it sounds amazing, doesn't it? As a family of five with a partner who wears a new work uniform each day, three children in uniforms (two of whom are under 5 and come home covered in paint daily) as well as regular laundry, my laundry pile is never ending! We probably do 3-4 loads of laundry per day minimum (no joke) and our old washer took forever to do a load so it felt like it was on all day long. So a washing machine that can wash clothes in just 28 minutes was like music to my ears.

Black Beko Washing Machine

As we are a family of five I opted for model WX943440B which holds a 9kg load of laundry which it can wash in just 28 minutes, or it can do a quick wash in just 14 minutes! The WX943440B model sounded ideal for us as a family of five as it has a generous 9kg capacity which can is able to wash 12 towels or 45 shirts in just one wash cycle. The machine is also eco-friendly with an A+++ energy efficiency rating which should also hopefully save us some money on energy bills too. It comes in either black or white colours, we have the black model which is priced at £379, however, it is currently on offer in Currys.

As I mentioned we received our new Beko washing machine before Christmas, however, due to getting unexpected work done to the house before Christmas and suffering a nasty norovirus bug I have taken a bit longer than normal to write this review. On the plus side, it means that we have properly tested this washing machine out over the past month and put it through its paces. Read on to see what we think.

The machine was delivered via Know How at a date and time to suit me, delivery was faultless. When the machine arrived I expected it to be a lot bigger than my previous washing machine which was held a 7kg load but the Beko 9kg washing machine was more or less the same size and easily fit under the bench in my utility room. It does have a large porthole type door which is so much bigger than previous machines, but I really like this as it so much easier to load the machine up.

Using the Beko washing machine was so straightforward it has a large LCD display which is really easy to read and follow. The machine has a range of wash cycles such as hand wash, shirt wash, anti-allergy and even a duvet wash, making this a much more versatile washing machine. You simply load the machine up, add your detergent, shut the door, select your program by twisting the dial and then press start. The countdown will then start telling you how long is left on your wash, which I find so useful as you know when the cycle will be finished.

Due to the machine having a high spin speed of 1400rpm it drains a lot more water during the spin cycle than my old machine did. So when I empty the machine my clothes don't feel as wet and they are drying so much quicker than before. I have also found that my clothes are smelling much fresher and coming out looking better then they did with my previous machine too.

It is also slightly quiet than my old machine too, it doesn't use traditional brush motors as it is uses Inverter motors instead. Inverter motors are billed as more being reliable and quieter than traditional brush motors, the machine does still make noise and is not as quiet as I thought it would be but it is slightly less noisy than my previous one, especially on a spin cycle.

Overal I am really impressed with my new Beko WX943440B washing machine, it looks great, is super easy to use, has a large drum, washes my clothes in super quick speed and leaves them feeling really clean and fresh. If you are looking for a new family machine then I highly recommend this one. I honestly can't find anything that I dislike about it.

  33. I don't think I've ever been more excited about a giveaway! haha At 27, apparently the things that make me most happy are home wares and electricals haha. My washer is now 5 years old and was just a cheapy when we got it and the main thing I hate about it is how small the drum is! 9kg is what I'm talking about!! The colour also matches all my other 'white goods'.
    Great Review!

  38. Love the idea that you can see how long you've got left on the wash. spend ages wandering in and out of the kitchen to see if the washing has finished. Would make life a lot easier knowing how long is left and would get a lot more housework done in the meantime.
