Baby Annabell Brother Doll Review

Having two children so close in age means that they are always playing with each others toys and fighting over them. Recently Sophia turned three and she got a baby doll and a pram for her birthday, as soon as her little brother Jacob seen the doll he took a shining to it and they fight over it non-stop. So imagine his delight when a Baby Annabell Brother doll arrived for him to review, it was love at first sight and he could not wait to get him out of the box.

Baby Annabell Brother Doll Review

Baby Annabell's brother comes with four accessories of a bottle, dummy, bib and necklace. He has a hard realistic baby looking face but his body is nice and squishy - perfect for hugs. He is quiet big so it feels like you are holding an actual baby, although he is still light enough for young children to carry. Like the original Baby Annabell doll the brother doll is also an interactive doll so he requires 4 AA batteries (not included) which turns him into such a clever doll that Jacob was fascinated with.

If you cuddle him or rock him he will close his eyes and fall asleep, even giving off cute snoring sounds. He also sucks on his dummy, gurgles, babbles and drinks clean water from his bottle and amazingly cries real tears when he is upset. My little two were amazed that he cried and made noises and movements with his mouth, I think Jacob thinks he is an actual real baby, or bab-bee as he calls him.

Baby Annabell Brother Doll accessories

I love that the little brother doll comes in a blue romper suit and is perfect for both boys and girls to play with, my son and daughter both love him equally. The baby grow is really soft and the whole look and feel of the doll is one of quality. We are huge Baby Annabell fans in are household as not only does Sophia have two Baby Annabell dolls but my eldest daughter who is now 13 also had one as a young child too. It is nice to see that Baby Annabell is still as lovable and similar as it was all those years ago but a bit more cuddley and with a few even better features  that children will love.

Baby Annabell brother

Overall I am really impressed with the Baby Annabell's Brother doll he is adorable to look at, is lovely and squishy and perfect for little ones to cuddle. He is amazing quality and has some amazing features that will amaze and entertain little ones. I think that any young child will love this doll and enjoy hours of endless role play fun looking after him, he is already a very much loved toy in are household.

You can buy Baby Annabell's Brother from all leading toy retailers priced at £49.99, I honestly think that he is worth every penny as he is such a clever and lovable doll that I can not fault at all. I only wish that I had of brought this doll for Sophia when her brother was born as it would have made such a lovely gift idea.

Disclosure We received this doll for the purpose of the review, however all opinions are my own.

  1. Sounds like a doll that your children will play with a lot! I don't think I could spend that much though!

  2. As soon as I read your post I began singing "Baby Annabel" in my head! Hope it doesn't stay long there ;)... Little T has had baby dolls since she was well... a baby herself and it's funny, she hasn't outgrown them yet. She still loves playing with her baby dolls. x

  8. Aw, such a cutie! I really want to get my daughter a little baby doll as she's starting to show some interest - I think it will probably be safer to start with an all plastic one though. (I foresee it getting many dips in the bath!) Then we can move on to nicer dolls. :) x
