Dacia Magic Weekend 2017

Newcastle has just hosted it's third Dacia Magic weekend and we were lucky enough to be invited along to experience it as a family. The Dacia Magic weekend is a two-day rugby super league event held at Newcastle United St James park stadium, right in the city centre of Newcastle. Three matches are held on each of the days and it is a great way for rugby league fans or total rugby novices like me to experience different matches. 

Teen Talk With Gabby Logan & Her Daughter Lois

Being a mum to a teen is tricky. Every day is a learning curve. Boots and P&G understand this which is why they are back for the second year with their #TeenTalk campaign. This year they have teamed up with TV presenter Gabby Logan and her 12-year-old daughter Lois to help give parents the confidence to have the dreaded #TeenTalk with their own children.

Next weekend is a bank holiday weekend and I don't know about you but I sometimes struggle thinking of ways to keep my children occupied on the long weekends. However, Smyths Toys Superstore is hosting free family parties at UK stores next Saturday the 27th May from 9 am to 2 pm.

Baby Born Sister Review

My little girl is almost four and she loves playing with her baby dolls and pushing them around in her dolls pram. We were recently sent a Baby Born sister doll to review, to go with the Happy Birthday doll we reviewed last year. 

The Baby Born Sister doll is different to the typical Baby Born doll in that she looks more like a little girl than a baby. This is something that really appealed to my little girl as she is different to the other dolls that we own. 

Yo Sushi New Menu Launch

 I was recently invited along to the YO! Sushi Newcastle new menu launch. I love sushi but I have never actually been to YO! Sushi before. So when an invite, inviting me along to the new menu launch landed in my inbox I thought it was the perfect opportunity to see what it was like.
