When I was younger I always remember that my mum used to buy my Nana a nice tin of biscuits each year for Christmas, looking back I think it was a lovely gift idea. If someone brought me a tin of biscuits for Christmas I would certainly be happy as they are a nice alternative to chocolates and can be enjoyed with a nice mid-afternoon cup of tea. Recently I was lucky enough to be sent the most beautiful festive tin of luxury biscuits from Biscuiteers that truly tasted as good as they look.
Biscuiteers biscuits are beautifully hand-iced, making each one unique and full of detail. They are made the old fashioned way and are the nicest biscuits that I have ever tasted, soft and buttery they melt in your mouth and are ever so delicious. Presented in a lovely circus re-useable themed tin you will find 24 brightly iced biscuits that look almost too pretty to eat, they really would make the most perfect gift.
As it is almost Christmas we were sent the Christmas Circus tin which includes the popular circus themed biscuits along with a few festive themed ones too, such as Christmas trees and presents. Each biscuit has been lovingly and delicately hand-iced and has just the right amount of icing on to compliment the crunchy vanilla biscuit base.
Biscuiteers send these gifts through the post and I was initially worried that they would come broken but I need not have worried as they were so well packaged that every single biscuit was intact. As you can send them via post I think these would make such a lovely surprise gift for someone who you may not see often. They have a beautiful classic festive range including The Snowman, Nutcracker and even Christmas tree card biscuits.
The Christmas Circus tin that I was sent retails at £48 with free delivery on orders over £100. The last delivery dates for Christmas orders are Wednesday the 21st at 1 pm for standard delivery, Thursday the 22nd at 1pm for next day delivery and Friday 23rd at 1 pm for London deliveries.
