The Book Of Everyone

With Christmas fast approaching and with us moving house in a matter of days I have been trying to get organised for Christmas early this year. I actually started shopping for my children's gifts back in the summer as I knew that I needed to get organised as the house move is costing a lot of money and taking up all of our time at the moment. While I love shopping for my children and find it really easy to think of things to buy them I do struggle when it comes to the adults in the family, especially my dad. Every year I ask him what he wants and every year he says he does not need anything and he normally ends up with socks, hankies and a bottle of brandy.

Recently I heard about The Book Of Everyone and I just knew that this would make such a special gift for my dad this Christmas. The Book Of Everyone is a brilliant idea that helps you create a book all about the person you are making it for, each book is individual to them and full of interesting facts about the year they were born.

Ordering your book is super simple, you simply visit the website select what kind of book you would like from the range available - such as Mum, Dad or the classic book of everyone. I opted for the original Book Of Everyone and I just had to add who it was for, who it was off (me obviously) you could also add a special message if you wished and add personalised messages and pictures too. You then added the person's date of birth, which is used to personalise the book and then you pick what colour you would like the cover of the book and if you want it in paperback or hardback. It literally took a matter of minutes to create and then you are showing a preview of how the book will look before confirming your order.

When the book arrived I was immediately impressed with the quality, it had a lot more pages than I expected with thick pages that were well presented. The front cover says The Book Of Brian (my dad's name) which I think is a nice touch and would make such a lovely surprise gift. It is packed full of interesting facts such as how many days (roughly) you have been born, what Chinese year you were born in and famous people who share your birthday.

It also had lots of fascinating facts such as what song was number one on the day you were born, how much a pint of milk and everyday essentials costs in the year you were born. Can you believe a litre of petrol only cost 6p in 1957 ? I am sure my dad will love reading all the interesting facts about when he was born and it will certainly make a great topic of conversation on Christmas day.

Overall I am really impressed with this book ordering was really simple, delivery was fairly quick for a personalised item - it took about a week to arrive. I can not fault the quality of the book at all, it is extremely well made and has a luxurious feel to it and it such a unique gift that will make such a wonderful keepsake. If you have a hard to buy for person this Christmas then I really do recommend The Book Of Everyone as I am sure that whoever yo brought one of these books for would love it, I know I certainly would.

You can buy your own copy of The Book Of Everyone from their website priced at £19.95 for a paperback like I received or £29.95 for hard backed with free UK delivery.

Disclosure I received this book for the purpose of this review, however all opinions are my own.
