Juice Festival October 2016 - 4 Fun Activities for Babies & Toddlers

This October will see the Juice Festival returning to the North East and from the 21st - 29th October families and under 25s will be able to enjoy the arts, dance, hip-hop, theatre and more at a wide range of venues across Newcastle / Gateshead. Today Samantha from North East Family Fun has put together a list of 4 festival activities that are perfect for babies and toddlers.

Juice Festival



 Big Juice Family Day

The Juice Festival launch will see lots of fun for all ages with fun activities and special preview performances from Juice Festival favourites.

When : Saturday 22nd October 11am -3pm.
Where : Discovery Museum, Newcastle & Trinity Square, Gateshead.
Cost : FREE - Just turn up.

Lulladub

Lulladub is aimed at babies aged 0-2 years old. Traditional lullabies from around the world will be re-mixed and little ones (and their grown-ups) can let their hair down and explore dance, voice, technology and percussion.

When : Sunday 23rd October 1pm
Where : Cluny 2, Ouseburn Valley

 NowHaus House Warming Party

Join North East favourite Chalk for the rave of the year (aimed at children aged 3-11 years old and their families). There will be a live DJ, a house to explore, giant drawing wall plus a scrapyard where you may be inspired to build your own creation to take home.

When : Friday 28th October 2pm - 3.30pm
Where : Shipley Art Gallery
Cost : £2.50 per child (under 3's and adults are free).

The Hogswallops

Hogswallops is aimed at children aged 3+ and promises to be a super fun-filed hour with circus skills, comedy, clowning around, slapstick, theatre and lots of laughs guaranteed.

When : Saturday 29th October 1pm & 5pm (there's also a later performance on Friday night)
Where : Northern Stage.
Cost : £12 each or £40 per family.

  1. All of this sounds so perfect! I wish it was closer to us. My two and half year old would happily take part in all of these activities, even the 3 year old ones! It all sounds like so much fun. x
