Welcome to another week of Other Bloggers Family Lives, this week I am featuring Emma from Emma Plus Three. Emma blogs about a range of subjects such as family days out, reviews, parenting posts and her son's autism. Her blog is really lovely with big bright photos and is one that I read regularly.
So lets find out more about the family behind Emma Plus Three.
1.) Tell me a bit about yourself and your family?
I'm Emma and I live with my husband James, son Max (5) and daughter Evie (3). We also have a Labrador Louis and a cat called Charlie. Max has Aspergers so life isn't without its challenges, there is never a dull moment that is for sure!
2.) Where do you live?
We live in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
3.) What is your favourite thing to do as a family where you live?
We're lucky that we live in a city where there is always plenty to do, we are also just a short drive from the countryside. We have lots of lovely parks on our doorstep which is one of our favourite things to do together.
4.) If you could live anywhere where would you?
There are so many places that I love and we love travelling and seeing new places but honestly, I don't think I could ever leave Sheffield. It is where my heart is.
5.) Did you grow up close to where you live now and what are your favourite childhood memories of where you grew up?
Yes, my mum and dad live around the corner from us in the house where I grew up. Max even goes to the primary school that I went to as a child. I have lots of great memories of playing in the woods, visiting local parks and summers spent at the outdoor paddling area, all things that I enjoy doing with my own children now.
6.) Have you got any exciting family plans for the year ahead?
We have an exciting year ahead, with day trips and short breaks planned. We are hoping for two holidays this year but we haven't decided where yet, I'm hoping Disneyland for one of them.
7.) What is your favourite thing about family life?
Getting to do fun things with my little team by my side!
Thank you so much for taking the time to answer these questions Emma, it was lovely to find out more about your family life in Sheffield. I bet it is so lovely bringing your children up so close to where you grew up and for them to attend your old school. We are hoping to visit Disneyland this year or next too and I can't wait.
