Welcome to another week of Other Bloggers Family Lives, this week I am joined by Jules from Pondering Parenthood. Jules blog is all about life as a first-time mum to her baby girl, reviews and a great guest post series called Meet The Parents.
So let's find out more about the family behind Pondering Parenthood.
1.) Tell me a bit about yourself and your family?
I'm Jules; I've been married to my lovely husband for just over a year and our baby girl, Little M was born last May.
2.) Where do you live?
We live in Norwich, Norfolk.
3.) What is your favourite thing to do as a family where you live?
Norfolk has so much to offer, we love going for walks along the Norfolk broads and for picnics at the beach. We are lucky to have so many beautiful beaches here.
4.) If you could live anywhere where would you?
Ooh, tricky! I'm happy living where I am as Norwich is great for shopping and has everything we need. Norfolk is a lovely county.
If I had to move, I've always like the look of Surrey as the hills there create some stunning scenery. If I moved abroad, I'd say Australia because I think they've got their work-life balance right and family is so important. I like to think that we might take the leap at some point in the future, once our parents are no longer around and we don't have those family ties. But I don't think we're brave enough to make such a big move!
5.) Did you grow up close to where you live now and what are your favourite childhood memories of where you grew up?
My family moved to Norfolk just before my seventh birthday. Both of my parents extended families are based in Norfolk so even before we moved we had holidays here. My favourite memories are of ice creams on the beach at Sheringham or Cromer, something I still enjoy today!
6.) Have you got any exciting family plans for the year ahead?
At the moment we are just settling into life as a three so we haven't made any big plans yet!
7.) What is your favourite thing about family life?
The very simplest thing; just being together. Watching how hubby interacts with Little M and learning new things about her every day!
Thank you so much for taking part Jules, I remember visiting Norfolk on holiday when I was a child and it is a lovely place. I hope that you have a wonderful year ahead with Little M. If you would like to find out more about Jules and her family visit her blog www.ponderingparenthood.com
