Paw Patrol Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay Game Review

 AD

Paw Patrol has been a favourite in our household for about 4 or 5 years now, back when it launched my now 7-year-old was obsessed with it. At one point I think we had seen every episode of the show, we had all of the toys and we even went to see it live at the arena. We knew all about Skye, Marshall, Chase, Zoomer, Rubble, Rocky, Everest, Tracker and of course Ryder and all the residents of Adventure Bay. As my children have grown (they are now 6 and 7) they are not into Paw Patrol as much as they used to be but they do still have a soft spot for the show and remember all the characters fondly.

So when I was asked if I wanted to try out the new Paw Patrol Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay game from Outright games I knew they would probably enjoy it as they love trying out new games on their Nintendo Switches. The game is out now and is available for the Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4 and Xbox 1 consoles. We downloaded the game from the Nintendo Switch shop which was super quick and easy but you can also buy hard copies of the game which would make a lovely Christmas gift idea for a Paw Patrol fan.

There are seven missions to complete in the game plus some fun mini-games. The games is really easy to use, my just turned 6-year-old managed to work out what to do on his own in no time. We really liked that the game is very much like the TV show, it starts in the lockout tower and everything looks and sounds exactly the same as on the show.

Children can play the game as their favourite Paw Patrol character and as the game goes on you unlock more features of the game. When playing there are two pups to play with and you can swap between the two to use their different features to complete the tasks. For example in the first part of the game, my children used Rubble to get rid of large rocks and Rocky to get rid of rubbish. There is also a 2-player co-op mode.

The game was great at getting my children to think logically, work as a team and solve the problems to progress to the next level. I think that any Paw Patrol fan will enjoy this game and it is a brilliant game for younger children to enjoy playing. It gets the thumbs up from my children and our very own 7-month-old poochon pup Teddy.

We were even kindly sent some Paw Patrol board games and crafty bits to enjoy too which the children really enjoyed.

To celebrate the launch of Paw Patrol Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay Outright Games and UKMums.Tv will be hosting a Twitter Party on Friday 6th November between 1-3pm where you can find out more and even win some prizes.
