2019

I am back after the most wonderful Christmas break with my family, we have spent some much needed time at home recovering from illnesses as the children caught so many bugs over the past few months. We have had lazy days at home watching films, playing with new toys from Santa and spending time with family and it was just what we all needed and has been so lovely. The children return to school tomorrow and I have decided to take the plunge eventually and start blogging full-time (and more consistently)  now that I am getting used to having all three children in full-time education.

2019 is going to be a big year for us as it is the year I finally get married and I am planning on making some changes to improve my life (aren't we all at this time of year). Last year I kind of lost my way with blogging a bit and was very inconsistent with posting, I toyed with the idea of setting up new blogs and even about closing this one down and returning to proper work, as being self-employed ain't all its cracked up to be at times.

However, I have decided to give full-time blogging a go and make some changes to this blog instead. I will still be posting sponsored posts and reviews as that is what pays the bills and enables me to write this blog but I will be featuring more days out and restaurant reviews, more travel content as we travel more now the children are older and less feral. I am hoping to feature more days out with my teen as I know how hard it can be finding places that teens will enjoy, let's face it a walk along the beach or a trip to soft play just doesn't cut it when they hit the teenage years.

I will also go back to posting more family recipes like I used to as they were always popular. Of course, I will be posting all about my upcoming wedding as I am now in full on wedding planning mode now it is less than six months away!

I am planning on being more active over on Instagram which is somewhere I have majorly neglected over the years, so give me a follow if you are on Instagram where I plan on posting more insta stories about wedding planning, getting healthy for my wedding and family life. I will be sharing more local content over on my Facebook page and sharing lots of recipes and wedding ideas over on Pinterest. I will of course also be over on Twitter too and hopefully, I will start actually using my YouTube channel more this year to share videos of days out we go on.

I am so excited for 2019 as we have lots to look forward to as a family and I can't wait to share it with you all. What are you most looking forward to this year, I would love to know in the comments below.

Good luck with the blogging. I will be interested to read about days out with teens. I really struggle with my two now they are too old for soft play and things like that. x

    1. Thank you Kim, I am feeling so excited for the year ahead this year. I struggle too as my teen never wants to go anywhere/ do anything other than watch netflix, visit nandos or send time with friends. Need to do more with her before she gets too big to spend time with me x
