Unique Christmas Party Venues

Unique Christmas Party Venues

Christmas is always so much fun, but there's one thing that can really bring things down and that's another boring festive party venue. So many people just seem to plump for anywhere that's available or that caters to the dietary needs of the whole group, but it doesn't take a lot of effort to find somewhere more exotic to ring in the jolliest season of the year.

I've discovered some fantastically unusual and eclectic venues that offer private hire, throughout the UK, which will have everyone singing their favourite carols  before they know it!

Warner Brothers Studio Tour - Hertfordshire

You don't need to be the biggest Harry Potter fan in the non-magical world to get swept away by the gorgeous settings of the studio tour. In fact, you might struggle to find somewhere that as all-in when it comes to creating a festive atmosphere. Christmas at Warner studios can be tailored to individual parties, down to different dietary needs, with dinner being served in the Great Hall, a private tour and dancing late into the evening.

YurtBar - Leeds

Exotic, beautiful and capturing the apres-ski vibe perfectly, YurtBar is a beloved pop-up venue in Leeds that celebrates all things Christmas in a winter wonderland setting. You'll forget that you are on a golf course in Yorkshire, as the tent has faithfully recreated an alpine setting, complete with sheepskin rugs, real fires and meal servers dressed in fun costumes. There's no early curfew, so great for us parents who fancy letting our hair down with friends.

Lee Valley VeloPark - London

I promised you unusual Christmas party venues and few are as off the wall (or up the bank) as the Lee Valley VeloPark. Available for private hire, this would be an amazing option for cycle fans who want to eat and be merry while being surrounded by an Olympic racetrack. As long as no cyclist are drinking, you might even be able to organise a little Christmas bike race as part of the fun.

Newmarket Racecourse - Suffolk

Easy to get to and terrifically upmarket, Newmarket Racecourse is definitely worth considering as a Christmas party venue, if a little luxury and elegance is on the priority list. Turning the flagship Millennium Grandstand into a glittering snowscape adds the perfect amount of festive spirit, without becoming too kitsch, and as you'd expect from a racecourse used to catering to some of the worlds elite, the food and drinks are yummy!

London Zoo

Regardless of whether there are 30 or 300 people on the guest list, London Zoo will have the perfect party venue, as it has four very different buildings available for private hire over the Christmas period. All decked out in seasonal animal themes, dinner and dancing will be a real experience here, but its the extra touches that make such a special experience, such as a private tour of the grounds and upgrades designed to really elevate the whole evening.

All Star Lanes - Various Locations

A favourite location for celebrities, All Star Lane takes bowling and makes it extra special, not to mention a whole lot more exclusive! With four locations in London and one in Manchester, each one decorated to resemble a retro secret cocktail lounge, there is plenty of scope for finding the right spot for a Christmas party with a difference. You hire the entire venue and then leave the rest up to the guys behind the shoe bar who will serve up American food, festive cocktails and appropriate footwear For a trendy night out that nobody will forget in a hurry, this one is hard to beat, especially as there photo-booths on-site too, for the ultimate keepsake.

Hopefully, this has given you a few ideas, if not a definite venue to book asap!
