Win The Ultimate School Trip With Jet2holidays

Do you have a child aged between 9 - 13 years old? If so read on as Jet2holidays have an amazing competition running at the moment where one whole school class could win The Ultimate School Trip. My eldest daughter Chloe has been on school residential trips abroad which she thoroughly enjoyed, if she was a couple of years younger I know for a fact that she would be entering this amazing competition with her classmates.

Jet2holidays decided to run this competition after carrying out some research to find what would make a child's perfect world. The results showed that

  • They would like Simon Cowell to be Prime Minister, followed by Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, Arianna Grande and Dick and Dom.
  • They would introduce mandatory three-day weekends.
  • No bedtimes or limits on screen time.
  • Mum & Dad to spend less time working
  • To have 10 holidays per year, and for all their school friends to come with them.

After seeing these results Jet2holidays decided to create The Ultimate School trip, where a class of school children aged 9-13 will be heading off on an all-expenses-paid trip to Sol Katmandu Park & Resort in Majorca (from Friday 20th April 2018 - Sunday 22nd April 2018), with none other than CBBC favourites Dick & Dom. How cool does that sound?

During the trip, the school children and their lucky teachers get to take part in fun educational workshops with celebrity hosts. They will receive VIP airport sendoffs, a welcome dinner and the ultimate school disco and show. As well as getting to enjoy all that the Sol Katmandu Park has to offer. It sure will be a once in a lifetime experience the children will remember forever.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said "It's great to see the heart-warming and positive things that would make our children's ultimate world's and we're excited to launch the Ultimate School Trip, which goes a long way towards bringing some of these to life. School trips provide many of our best school memories and create some of the most valuable and lasting educational experiences. They give children the opportunity to step out of the classroom and experience History, Geography, Science and the Arts in amazing new locations. This once in a lifetime trip to Sol Katmandu Park and Resort certainly does that and we are looking forward to seeing all the entries."

To enter this amazing competition and be in with a chance of winning your entire school class a place on The Ultimate School trip, you need to create and submit a promotional piece for Sol Katmandu Park & Resort. You could create a poster, write a poem, perform a song or make a video, the more creative the better.

Check out the video below for some inspiration.

You really should enter as the chance of winning is good, as nine classes will win this amazing prize! Plus the 45 shortlisted schools will win £1,000 worth of school equipment vouchers.

All entries must be submitted by Wednesday 28th February 2018 and you can enter and check out all the details at www.ultimateschooltrip.jet2holidays.com Dick and Dom will be creating a shortlist of five schools from each of the Jet2holidays nine airport regions. The airports are Newcastle, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, East Midlands, Birmingham, London Stanstead, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Belfast. Once the shortlist has been announced it will go to a public vote with the nine winning classes being announced on Tuesday the 13th March 2018.

Sol Katmandu Park and Resort looks amazing and so much fun for children. We are actually off to Majorca in May with Jet2holidays and after seeing how fab Sol Katmandu Park & Resort looks I think we will be paying it a visit when we are there.

Good Luck to all the students entering.

  2. Oh this is an absolutely lovely idea! Especially because in this day and age less and less children are able to go on holidays due to a family’s lack of finances. I think this is a fab idea and will definelty be suggesting it to all of the teachers I know!

  11. Sorry, can we just stop with Simon Cowell meeting Donald Trump, as leaders of the UK and the US. Brilliant. Would the special relationship continue?
