Thing's I Have Loved In March 2017

We are now a quarter of the way through the year, spring is in the air and the days seem to be whizzing on by at record breaking speed lately. March was another strange month for me, I was unwell yet again and it meant that we did not do a lot as a family. Anyway, spring is now in the air, the sun is peeking out from behind the clouds and I am so looking forward to the warmer weather as everything seems so much better when the sun is shining. So let's have a look at some of the things that I have been loving from the month gone by.

Win A Num Noms Series 3 Bundle

Have you heard of Num Noms yet? If you are a parent I am sure that you have as children adore them, my three-year-old daughter certainly does as she has built up a collection of them over the past year. We reviewed them last year and they have become a firm favourite in our house, as they are cute, fun and appealing for children. Num Noms have recently launched a new series 3 collection and I have a bundle of them to give away to one lucky reader.

Ben & Holly's Little Kingdom Live Review

Last weekend my two pre-schoolers could not believe their luck when we went to see Ben & Holly's Little Kingdom live at Newcastle's beautiful Tyne theatre and opera house. They really did have the best time and even now a week later they are still talking about the show and keep asking when they can go and see it again. Ben & Holly's Little Kingdom is a popular children's TV show showing on Nick Jr and 5's Milkshake and is a show that my children adore and watch each morning and it has been turned into a stage show for pre-schoolers to enjoy.

Mothers Day Shopping At Silverlink Shopping Park

This Sunday is Mothers Day and if you are still looking for a gift for your loved one then a trip to Silverlink retail park is sure to help you out. Living in Tyneside I often visit the Silverlink shopping park, located in Wallsend near the Tyne Tunnel, as it is easy to get too and has a great selection of shops and restaurants along with plenty of free parking. As a Mam I find shopping here so much easier than going into Newcastle city centre, as we can park close to the store we want and it is just a much easier shopping experience when you have young children.

Mothers Day Gifts From Pia Jewellery

Mothers day is this Sunday and if you are still looking for the perfect gift for your Mam or children's mam then don't worry as I have found the perfect gift idea. As a Mam myself I love receiving gifts that I can keep for years to come, and what better gift that you can keep then jewellery? I don't wear a lot of jewellery myself so when I do get some I like it to be high quality and something that will last me for many years and be a real investment piece to add to my collection.

Pia Jewellery Review

Step forward Pia Jewellery and their beautiful range of necklaces, earrings, bracelets, brooches and rings made from silver, gold and gemstones. Pia recently contacted me and asked if I would like to review a pendant and earring set from their Mother's Day collection and of course I accepted, after all, it is not often this Mam gets to review things as I normally only get sent stuff for the children to review.

Win A Project Mc2 H20 Nail Science Lab

Did you know that this week is British Science week? Running from the 10th to the 19th of March and Netflix show Project Mc2 is an official sponsor of the event. Project Mc2 really are the perfect sponsor for British Science week as the show helps inspire older children and tweens to take an interest in S.T.E.A.M subjects - Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics.

Project Mc2 follows a group of six girls who are super-smart and very cool and use their love of science and spy skills to undertake secret missions for a top-secret organisation, NOV8. As a mum to two girls myself (and a boy) I think that any kind of show and toy range that helps encourage children to take an interest in these subjects is a brilliant idea.

Beauty And The Beast Toys From Jakks Pacific Review

Today the very much anticipated adaptation of Disney Classic Beauty and the Beast is released in Cinemas and I am so excited! Beauty and the Beast is a film that I remember well from my own childhood, I remember going to see the animated film back in the early 90's and it has always been a film that I have adored. My three-year-old daughter Sophia is also a huge Beauty and the Beast fan, she is always watching the film and Belle is without a doubt her most favourite Disney princess.

To celebrate the release of the movie we were very kindly sent a bundle of Beauty and the Beast products from Jakks Pacific, Sophia's little face lit up when they arrived. We were sent a beautiful Ballroom Belle doll, a musical Enchanted Rose Jewellery box, an Enchanted Objects Tea Set and a copy of the latest Disney Princess magazine. I had serious envy as these toys were so pretty and perfect for any Beauty and the Beast fan.

February 2017

I feel like I have not sat down and written on here in ages. I guess sometimes life just gets in the way, I wish I could say that I have been far too busy having fun and doing something amazing, but I have not. The truth is I have constantly been ill and I kind of lost my blogging mojo, I just don't have any energy to sit and write at the moment. I wish that I did as I have such a backlog of work at the moment but my mind has been elsewhere. I don't mean to sound like a grump but I have been so run down lately and I have had one illness after the other for the last eight weeks or so, as soon as I start feeling better I get unwell again with coughs, colds and sickness bugs.

I feel like I am running on empty as Jacob has well and truly hit the dreaded terrible twos, he is waking every day at around 5 am after a few hours of broken sleep and then is grumpy during the day having tantrums and is very clingy. That is probably why I am so unwell as I don't get the chance to rest and get better. I am exhausted and I am living on copious amounts of coffee, my diet has gone out the window (again) as I am living on soups and toast. Anyway as I have been so run down and unwell lately we have not done very much lately, but here is a look at what we got up to in February 2017.
