Other Bloggers Family Lives Featuring Hello Baby Blog

Welcome to another week of my guest post series Other Bloggers Family Lives, which has been running for a year this week. This week I am joined by Steph from one of my all time favourite blogs Hello Baby Blog. I have been reading Steph's blog since I started blogging myself over two years ago, her blog is so stylish with the most beautiful family photographs. I have also met Steph in real life (at a blogging event) and she is so lovely and friendly.

Hello Baby Blog

So let's find out more about the family behind Hello Baby Blog.

1.) Tell me a bit about yourself and your family?

Hi, I'm Steph, mum to Jack (5) and Phoebe (2) and I am a marketing manager/full-time mummy by day and lifestyle/parenting blogger by night!

2.) Where do you live?

We live in beautiful Cheshire.

3.) What is your favourite thing to do as a family where you live?

Weather permitting, we love venturing outdoors and making the most of our lovely area. There are some brilliant National Trust properties located nearby including Quarry Bank Mill, Dunham Massey (brilliant for deer-spotting and scooting/cycling thanks to its super flat paths), Tatton park with its farm and excellent playground and Hare Hill. We also spend a lot of time in Alderley Edge up at the Edge (another NT location - we like to get our money's worth!) which has the most beautiful views over the Cheshire countryside and is brilliant for the kids to explore and run wild through the trees.

4.) If you could live anywhere where would you?

Before we settled down, Andy and I had a belated gap year and travelled the world for a year. During that trip, we both fell in love with New Zealand and felt that we could easily settle there if it wasn't so far way from our loved ones. I also lived in Japan in my late teens and adored it but wouldn't want to live there with the kids.

I adore the UK and Cheshire is a great place to live; I just wish it didn't rain so much!!

5.) Did you grow up close to where you live now and what are your favourite childhood memories of where you grew up?

I've gone full circle and now live about 1 mile away (if that) from my parent's house. I've lived in Leeds, Tokyo and another village nearby over the years, but I came back to where I grew up dragging Andy along with me.

6.) Have you got any exciting family plans for the year ahead?

Jack started school in September so we are now tied to the school holidays forever more, but we have a few holidays planned with family and friends.

7.) What is your favourite thing about family life?

I just love being a mum and I can't imagine my life without my children. They really are a joy to be around and the four of us have such a lovely time together. Having kids makes you see the world from a different perspective, through the eyes of a child and it's just the best!

Thank you so much for taking part Steph, I loved reading your answers and it sounds so lovely where you live. My little girl starts school next year and we will be tied to the school holidays too which I am not looking forward too at all. I hope you enjoy your holidays this year and I can't wait to read more of your family adventures on your blog in the future.
