Other Bloggers Family Lives Featuring Adventures Of A Monkey Footed Mummy

Welcome back to Other Bloggers Family Lives, I have not been running this series for a few weeks as I simply have not had the time to blog since moving house last month. I will be back posting every Wednesday again now that we have settled into our new home and I have lots of lovely bloggers lined up over the next few weeks. This week I am featuring fellow North East parenting blogger and mum of three Karen from Adventures Of A Monkey Footed Mummy. Karen blogs about all things parenting, reviews, days out and dining out with her daughter's allergies, she is a truly lovely person who I have met several times.

So let's find out more about the family behind Adventures of a Monkey Footed Mummy.

1.) Tell me a bit about yourself and your family?

I am an almost 40-year-old Mam of 3 children under 8. I am a Women's Institute secretary, a social media manager and an event planner (although that side of things is quiet at the moment) I am also a blogger.

2.) Where do you live?

We live in Tyneside.

3.) What is your favourite thing to do as a family where you live?

We enjoy going to the park and the beach, rock pooling and bug hunting.

4.) If you could live anywhere where would you ?

Crete, it is so laid back and friendly. We keep going back again and again as we love it so much.

5.) Did you grow up close to where you live now and what are your favourite childhood memories of where you grew up?

I have never lived anywhere else. My favourite memories involve sand filled sandwiches and my Nana sneaking us chips from the chippy she worked at on the beach.

6.) Have you got any exciting plans for the year ahead?

We have a holiday booked and hopefully lots of local things too. I have a 40 by 40 list to work through too by the summer 40 by 40 bucket list.

7.) What is your favourite thing about family life?

The fact that there has not been one single day of parenthood when we have not found something to smile about. Kids bring joy, and craziness, mess and stress but most of all joy.

Thank you so much for taking part Karen it was lovely to read more about your family life here in the North East. You sound so busy with all of your different roles, how do you manage it all ? I struggle just looking after my kids and blogging never mind other jobs and commitments.
