Living in a house that backs on to farmers fields full of crops I have found that I suffer from mild hay fever. I get a stuffy nose, foggy head and runny eyes, I am not a fan of taking tablets unless I really have too as I have found anti-histamines normally leave me feeling a bit lightheaded and take ages to have any kind of effect. I normally just put up with hay fever symptoms and accept that it comes with living near fields.
Recently I was sent a Serenz allergy relief dispenser, which is a little hand held gadget that uses carbon dioxide to gently cleanse the nasal passage. In turn relieving allergy symptoms such as nasal congestion, sneezing and a running nose. Something I have been suffering with a lot these last few weeks.
The dispenser is really easy to use as you simply turn it with the plastic key provided before your first use to activate it. Then when you are ready to use it you simply take off the cap place in your nostril and push the button for 10 seconds, remembering to breath through your mouth when using as you do not inhale this product.
I have never used anything like this before and I did find it really strange when I first tried it and did suffer from a slightly uncomfortable stinging sensation. Although my nose did feel much clearer pretty much straight away after using Serenz and it stayed clear all day. You can use the dispenser up to six times per day but I only needed to use it once and was pleased to find that it did not leave a funny taste in the back of my throat.
It is suitable for adults aged 18-65, although not recommended for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. It comes filled with enough natural C02 for 40 uses and as it does not contain any anti-histamines or medicine into your body and no side effects have been reported other than slight stinging in some people when they first used it (like myself).
You can buy Serenz priced at £17.99 online
