Thinking About My Summer Wardrobe

Now that it is May and the sun is shining I have been struggling with what to wear, as I don't really have many nice summer outfits. I have either been heavily pregnant or had a young baby for the last three summers due to having children close in age, meaning I lived in frumpy maternity clothes. I am planning on having a bit of a shopping spree to treat myself to some new summer outfits, I also have a few weddings to go to this summer so I need some new dresses too to go with my new shoes.

I don't know if it just me or if this is a common mum problem but I really struggle when it comes to buying things for myself. I feel guilty when I spend money on myself these days as I always think that I could have spent the money on my children instead (even though they are better dressed then me and have everything they need!)

So imagine my delight whilst browsing online when I discovered a website Called Lovethesales.com. It is a site full of well known fashion brands at amazing sale prices. I noticed that they have a Dorothy Perkins sale section on the site which I have spent ages browsing, as Dorothy Perkins is my go to high street store and is where I buy most of my clothes. So the fact I can get them at an even better price is just brilliant!

Whilst browsing I came across lots of lovely summer outfits  from t-shirts and jeans to dresses and heels. I love that the prices are so low as it means that I can treat myself to extra clothes and hopefully I won't get that dreaded 'mum guilt' feeling that I am spending money on myself. After all us mums deserve new clothes too and at these low prices it would be rude not too.

  1. It's not just you! I always feel so bad for buying things for myself. I bought some new clothes and a pair of trainers and thought I could have spent that money on the kids.

  2. Mum problems! I feel bad to, yet will happily splurge on the kids who quite honestly want for nothing!
