Regular readers will know that we are part of the Parragon book buddies scheme, which means that my little two are sent a book to review each month. We were sent a book over Easter which was a rather cute finger puppet board book called Hippity, Hoppity Little Bunny. I am actually late writing this review as we were so busy over Easter and we went away for a few days, so I am busy trying to catch up on reviews. Even though Easter has passed I still think that this is a lovely book that can be enjoyed all year around, so read on to see what we thought.
Hippity, Hoppity Little Bunny is a small board finger puppet book which is just the right size for little toddler hands to hold. I love these style of books as my one and two year old love them as they are fun and perfect for grabbing little ones attention. I also really like that they are hardback board books as it means that my one year can not destroy them, like he does with paperback books.
The book consists of twelve brightly illustrated pages which are Easter themed with brightly patterned Easter eggs on each page and spring chicks and flowers throughout. As it is a finger puppet book it also has a rather cute white fluffy bunny finger puppet who is the 'star' of the story. My little two love these finger puppet style books as we have reviewed a few of them before such as Hug Olaf and they have all been big hits.
As with all Parragon books the quality is fantastic with lovely bright illustrations throughout that babies and toddlers will love. Even though this is a Easter themed book I think that it would make a lovely addition to any little ones book collection and is a story that will be enjoyed again and again.
You can buy a copy of Hippity, Hoppity Little Bunny from Parragon and all good book shops priced at a very reasonable £3.99.
Disclosure We were sent this book for the purpose of this review, however all opinions are my own.
