Win A Baker Days LetterBox Cake

Today is day four of my week of giveaways to celebrate my blog birthday. You can't have a birthday celebration without cake, can you ? Nope. So Baker Days very kindly sent me a cake to celebrate, they have also offered one of my lucky readers the chance to win their own cake too!

I actually reviewed a Baker Days cake back when I first started blogging. I was really impressed with the cake back then and thought that the whole concept of a cake being delivered by post was a genius idea. I remembered how yummy the cake was and was keen to see if they were as nice as I remember them being.

Selecting my cake was hard, as their is so many available on the Baker Days website. Their really is a cake for any occasion, from birthdays to new baby to engagement and everything in between. They even have an option for you to design your own cake and most of the cakes whether pre-designed or designed by yourself have the option of special personalised messages, making your chosen cake that little bit extra special.

I selected a vanilla cake but you can also select other flavours at a small extra cost such as chocolate chip, fruit, gluten free or dairy free. You can also select the size of your cake too from the small 3-4 portion letterbox cake I was sent right up to large 40-55 portion cakes for bigger gatherings. I love how you can just select what cake you want online from the comfort of your own home and it gets delivered by post, making them so convenient.

I decided to get a Thank you cake (to say thank you to all you readers) with an emoji on, as lets face it us bloggers always use emojis on social media. Within two days of the order being placed the cake arrived in perfect condition. It did actually fit through my letterbox too! It was well packaged in a cake tin which was packaged inside of a letterbox sized cardboard box. Inside the box their was also some love heart sweets and a card, which were a nice touch.

I was seriously impressed with the cake as it was so soft and tasted fresh and even better then I remembered, it has the perfect mix of cake and icing - which tastes amazing. The cake easily served four and myself and my three children really enjoyed it.

I still think that these cakes are a brilliant idea as they are lovely to send as a surprise to someone. I would love it if someone sent me a surprise cake through the post and I am sure so many other people would be too.

If you like the sound of Baker Days cake (seriously go check their website out if you haven't already, so you can see how many cakes they have) then make sure you enter the giveaway below and you too could win your own Baker Days letterbox sized caked to enjoy at home or to send to someone special.
