Pampers #SagGoneGrooveOn

When I had my eldest child thirteen years ago I always used Pampers nappies, as I found them to be the best around. So when I had my second daughter almost three years ago I once again turned to Pampers and continued using them when baby number three came along. People were always telling us to try cheaper supermarket brands, as we had two little ones in nappies for a year which was rather expensive. We have tried the odd brand of cheaper supermarket nappies out over the years but I always went straight back to Pampers, as I find them to be the best around as cheaper nappies went really saggy.

Pampers

Recently Pampers have improved their Active fit range of nappies which now have built-in magic pods that aim to help prevent nappy sagging. Let's face it nappy sagging looks rather unpleasant and I am always changing my own children as soon as I spot the first sign of sagging, not only is it unsightly but it also stops little ones being so active.

So when we were recently sent some of the new Active fit nappies to try out with my 18-month-old son I was keen to see if they lived up to the hype and really did stop sagging and let toddlers be as active as they like without a saggy nappy restricting them. When I opened the nappies I noticed that they seemed thinner than regular Pampers nappies, I also found them to be really stretchy when fastening them on my son which is always a bonus as I have lost count of the times I have accidentally pulled the sticky tab off nappies when fastening them on a wriggly baby.

My little man seemed to love these nappies and as you can see from the video below he had lots of fun doing what toddlers do best running, climbing and sliding at the park whilst wearing the new active fit nappies.

We also carried out a little experiment which you can see in the video below that shows just how absorbent the new nappies are and how the new magic pods evenly distribute liquid within the nappy to prevent the dreaded nappy sag.

We were really impressed with the new Pampers premium protect active fit nappies, they really seemed to reduce nappy sagging whilst still keeping my little man dry. They are also great for active toddlers as they are so stretchy making them perfect for toddlers to groove on and run around like toddlers do best.

  1. Went for Pampers too when my daughter was a baby-toddler. They always seemed to last longer than the others, even though admittedly, they are a bit pricier, but so worth it I think :)

    1. They really do seem to last much longer then other brands don't they, I totally agree they are so worth that little bit extra money xx

  2. We've always used Pampers and I really rate them - it's very rare that we've ever had a leak. I don't use the Active Fit though, just the Baby Dry, so I may investigate these now that my little boy is constantly on the move!

    1. I know we find it very rare we get a leak too and the odd time we have is simply because we had not fitted it correct. We always used the baby dry too but the active fit seem better for my toddler as they seem more stretchy xx

  3. I agree with you. Having tried cheaper options, I found myself returning back to Pampers for the fit and quality.

    1. They really are such great quality aren't they. I have used them on all three of my children and non of them have ever had nappy rash either xx

  4. Exactly we would not be comfortable in sagging pants so why should we skimp on nappies. Pampers and Huggies are both great brands I think.

    1. That is so true Ana, it must be so uncomfortable and restrictive for little ones having sagging nappies xx

  5. I always thought Pampers were brill and I've no doubt that they are improving all the time. It's great that the fit is good, I'd imagine it's much more comfy for toddlers too, especially if they are running around.

    1. I know I thought they were great when I had my eldest 13 years ago, they have changed so much in that time and are even better now xx

  6. Initially I used Huggies when Monkey was born although I switched to Pampers reasonably early on once his tummy button had healed. They seemed to fit him better. We continued to use them all the way through. Expecting another little boy we will be doing the same this time round :), especially now they have this new technology too x

    1. I don't even think they sold Huggies when I had my younger two and I never used them with my eldest. I used Pampers all the way through with my girls too until they were potty trained and could not fault them in anyway xx

  7. After 4 babies and MANY, MANY nappies, I am sure of one thing - I would never bother with anything other than Pampers. I've tried other brands but it always ended the same way, with issues!... I always went back to good old Pampers in the end!

  8. I used pampers too. I found most other brands were never up to standards in comparison with Pampers. I hear Huggies is good too but I never got to use it.

  9. My 2 are very past the nappy stage but I still remember it well. My pair wore reusable but at night they were always in pampers. Cheaper brands just didn't work for us
