So I have decided to shake things up diet wise and try something new for the next two weeks in the hope of kick starting my weight loss mission and helping me get back into the right frame of mind to lose weight, ready for the Christmas party season and the new year.
For the next two weeks I will be giving the Exante meal replacement diet a try. I have been sent two weeks worth of meals so I don't need to plan meals or think about what I am eating as I have been provided with 14 breakfasts, 14 lunch's and 14 evening meals. I will be sharing with you how the diet is going, what I think of the meals and how much weight I have lost.
On the Exante diet you can choose either shakes and bars meal replacement diet plan or the breakfast, lunch and dinner plan. I opted for the breakfast, lunch and dinner plan as I don't think I would be able to stick to just shakes and bars, as I would miss food and probably give up after a day or two. In the pack I received
- 2 Crispy Vanilla Cereal
- 2 Porridge Oats
- 2 Maple Syrup Pancakes
- 2 Breakfast Eggs
- 2 Cheese and Bacon Breakfast Eggs
- 3 Blueberry and Raspberry Pancakes
- 3 Cheese and Bacon Savoury Scones
- 3 vegetable Soups
- 2 Pasta With Ham and Mushroom
- 2 Sweet and Sour
- 2 Indian Curry and Rice
- 2 Beef and Black Bean
- 2 Indian Dahl and Rice
- 2 Sausage Mix
- 2 Burger Mix
- 2 Gooey Chocolate Pudding
- Box of 7 Pizza's.
All the food comes in packages and needs to either be made up with water, microwaved or cooked in the oven and you do not need to buy any additional ingredients. I will be honest when I seen the packages of food when they arrived last week my first thought was the packages will never fill me and I was unsure of what powdered food would taste like.
I am starting the plan today as I have been weighed so I know exactly what I weigh today and I will be reporting next week on how much weight I have lost, what meals I tried and what I honestly thought of them and what I think of the plan, so be sure to check back next Tuesday for an update.
I have just tried the vegetable soup for my lunch and it was actually nice, it was just a powder that you make up with boiling water making it perfect for busy mums or if you are busy at work and it looked and tasted just like soup.
