Review: Rainbow Braid 5400 Piece Loom Refill Kit

If you are a parent then I am sure that this summer you became well aware of loom bands as children all over the country went crazy for them. My oldest daughter Chloe certainly did, she has thousands of them. We can not go to a shop without her nagging me for a bag of them, she spends hours watching youtube videos of people creating things with them and then hours trying to make her own creations. But I found that I was spending a fortune on them as a small bag of them was costing me £2 and I found that they snapped easily and some of them had a strange rubbery smell to them.

Anyway back in August, I was given the chance to review some Rainbow Braid Looms and Chloe was over the moon at getting the chance to review them. They actually arrived the day that I came home from the hospital with her new baby brother, so they were a brilliant distraction for her and kept her occupied in those early newborn days where I did not have the time or energy to take her on days out.

What we made
We received the 5400 piece Rainbow braid loom refill kit, which has 18 different colours each in small bags of 300. There was red, purple, light blue, dark blue, turquoise, fluorescent yellow, green, blue, pink, orange and purple and glittery pink, blue, purple, orange and green. It also came with 250 clips which you need to make bracelets with .

I was really impressed that these bands are lab tested in the USA and have no lead or nasty phthalates chemicals in them. They also come with a 365 day money back guarantee if you are not happy with them, which I think is amazing!

Chloe had a lot of fun with her Rainbow braids, she has been making lots of different things from bracelets to phone cases to little animals and characters. She has spent hours making things and she still has some left and she has had them for six weeks now.

Another thing that Chloe mentioned about these bands is that they do not have the nasty chemical rubbery smell some of the previous bands I brought her had. They also don't snap easy like previous ones have done, they seem super stretchy.

With Christmas fast approaching I think these would make fantastic gifts for children and will keep them entertained for hours. They are available to buy on Amazon and they cost £14.90 with free delivery. Which is amazing value as you would spend a lot more then that if you were buying individual packs,  the quality of these compared to others we have tried is great.

These get the big thumbs up from both myself and Chloe and I would recommend them to anyone. I honestly can not fault them at all as the price is great, they arrived quickly, and they are much better then other similar products we have tried in the past.
